ROLFING® Structural Integration for the Modern Body
Kevin McCarthy, Certified Rolfer®, has joined our team of highly skilled trainers bringing our clients and the Twin Cities community the wonders of this body work.
What is Rolfing? Rolfing was developed by Dr. Ida Rolf Ph.D. more than 50 years ago as a means of bringing the body into balance, to free the body of pain, stiffness and chronic stress. Rolfers work directly with the dense network of connective tissues (fasica) that support and penetrate all of the body’s muscles, bones, nerves and organs to realign and balance the whole person. Although in its early days Rolfing had the reputation of being a “painful” process, new training and techniques allow the Rolfer to work in a more gentle and considerate manner. You will feel lighter, taller and more balanced. You will detect an increasing fluidity of movement with more energy and alertness. Those in recovery from injury, trauma or chronic pain in the joints will benefit considerably.
Rolfing is work that heals beyond the moment (unlike massage). By addressing the body at its foundation, Rolfing produces changes that last.
Experience the many benefits of Rolfing. Kevin offers an introductory 60-minute session at $85.00.
